EVENT: HOT BREAD KITCHEN’S PROOF Pitch Showcase + BENEFIT, 2022
CHALLENGE: A program event AND an organizational fundraiser, all in one night! At the PROOF Pitch Showcase + Benefit five food entrepreneurs from across New York City got the opportunity to “proof” their products for a panel of culinary experts and 300 hungry guests. We created a unique event format including a showcase for small businesses during happy hour and a fast-paced live tasting experience.
We proudly featured incredible women of color as our judges as well as hiring behind the scenes: Hot Bread Kitchen member Jennifer of August Catering was our event caterer.
MY ROLE: Overall event concept, food curation, project management, art direction, vendor coordination, day-of execution, video planning and production.
THE RESULT: An incredible night for 5 winning women entrepreneurs, and an unforgettable fundraiser.
